Need to access or restore your USBC?

Have you forgotten your USBC Name?

USBC helps you create an identity for a username (USBC name) you select in the beginning of onboarding process.

If you forgot your USBC name, go to USBC website and "Login" using your phone number.  Once you verify your phone number, it will show your USBC names you have registered.

Restore your USBC with the recovery key?

Unlike a traditional app, USBC doesn't use passwords. Most people have a randomly-generated recovery passkey associated with their identity.

The easiest way to restore your identity is with the USBC key.

Restore via iCloud / Google

If you've set up iCloud recovery, choose the "Restore via iCloud" option.

You should receive an SMS text message to the phone number that you used to create your USBC identity.

If you do not receive an SMS, try tapping the back button in the upper-left, then tapping "Restore via iCloud" again. If you still do not receive an SMS, you will not be able to connect your identity with this method. Please try another method in this article.

Next, you will be asked for your USBC PIN. If you do not know your USBC PIN, you will not be able to connect your identity with this method. Please try another method in this article.

If you see the error "failed to decrypt" that means your PIN was entered incorrectly. Please try again.

Are you still having trouble restoring your USBC Identity?

1. Choose the option "I need help restoring my identity."

2. Next, you should receive a 6-digit code to the phone number you used to sign up for USBC.

3. Submit the SMS code you receive and your details using this -->form<---.

4. Our agents will recover your identity using a secure method which utilizes your SMS code. Please remember it expires within 24 hrs. If so, you will need to repeat the process.

5. Once our agents reply to you that your identity was recovered, go back to your USBC app and tap "Refresh status". You should be in right away.
