As part of this transition, the GlobaliD mobile application has been rebranded as the USBC app. You’ll still enjoy the same privacy‑preserving digital identity you’re used to, but now paired with powerful new features for your financial and social life.

What’s changing?

• A new and improved Money Wallet – The rebranded app introduces a redesigned wallet that makes managing USBC deposits simpler and more intuitive. It’s a non‑custodial wallet, meaning you control your own keys; the wallet keeps your IDs encrypted on your device.

• Enhanced chat and identity features – The app now includes a secure chat hub and updated identity tools that help you establish and manage your trusted online identity. 

• Same dedication to privacy and transparency – While the look and name of the app have changed, the core values remain the same. 

Why the change?

USBC is building a compliant, identity‑enabled digital dollar ecosystem. This rebrand aligns the mobile experience with the broader USBC vision and brings the GlobaliD technology fully into the USBC family. The app still draws on the strong identity‑management foundation that GlobaliD pioneered, but now integrates more closely with the USBC deposit token and its evolving features.

What you need to do

To take advantage of these improvements, simply update your GlobaliD app to the latest version—your existing login and credentials will carry over. Users downloading the app for the first time should search for “USBC Deposit Token” in the app stores.
